February 28th is our favorite day of the year – National Tooth Fairy Day!
This special day is all about caring for those pearly whites and making dental health fun. To celebrate the Tooth Fairy’s favorite day, there are a few ways to make the day extra special for young kids.
- Read a Book About Dental Health: There are many stories about the Tooth Fairy and dental health available at your local library which will make for a fun story time activity. The Tooth Fairy’s favorite book that she recommends is The Berenstain Bears Visit the Dentist.
- Make Healthy Snacks: Did you know that there are eight teaspoons of sugar in an eight-ounce serving of chocolate milk? That’s a lot of sugar! Make the day fun and healthy by preparing healthy snacks together by making a hummus dip and vegetable sticks and banana sushi – there are tons of tasty healthy recipes available online.
